ZMDE: Pioneering Intelligent Steel Structure Processing Equipment

Against the backdrop of a complex and volatile international environment, coupled with mounting downward pressure on the global economy, growth in the domestic construction industry decelerated. As a leading player in domestic steel structure processing equipment, ZMDE proactively advanced research, development, and manufacturing of key equipment for intelligent steel structure production lines. Our mission revolves around promoting prefabricated construction and facilitating the realization of factory-made buildings. We are committed to driving the development of green and energy-efficient steel structure production and processing.

Policy Support Fuels Innovation

On the policy front, the state and relevant departments have introduced a series of supportive measures to boost the prefabricated construction industry. Notably, the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Construction Industry", issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, emphasizes that during this period, the proportion of prefabricated buildings in new construction should exceed 30%. The plan actively promotes high-quality steel structure residential construction and encourages the prioritized use of steel structures in public buildings, including schools and hospitals. This robust policy support has significantly increased demand for prefabricated steel structure buildings.

Addressing Industry Challenges

Despite the demand, traditional equipment for prefabricated steel structure construction faces industry pain points such as low production efficiency and high costs. As a leader in the prefabricated construction industry, ZMDE has achieved breakthroughs in multiple core technologies. Our assembly, welding , and straightening integrated machine enables groove-free welding below 18 mm. By combining the functions of traditional assembly machines, gantry welding, and straightening machines, this innovative solution boosts overall production efficiency by more than 2 times. 

Moreover, the machine's compact footprint (only about 1/3 the size of multiple traditional devices) increases factory utilization rates while reducing electricity consumption by nearly 50%. With 26 patents, including an invention patent for the "hot welding and straightening process", ZMDE commands a market share exceeding 70%. 

Additionally, our newly developed fully automatic one-shot production line for prefabricated steel beams and the intelligent regenerative thermal oxidizer integrated machine set new industry standards for steel structure production.

We seize the opportunities presented by the national "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals" strategy deployment, emphasizing independent innovation and strategic collaboration with 15 scientific research institutes. Our achievements include establishing 4 provincial and 6 municipal research and development platforms, such as the Shandong Provincial Industrial Design Center, the Shandong Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, and the Shandong Provincial One Enterprise One Technology Research and Development Center.

Our core technologies encompass carbon steel deep melting K-TIG welding, hot welding and straightening processes, ultrasonic submerged arc welding, and innovative materials for prefabricated building walls. Looking ahead, ZMDE remains committed to prefabricated construction industry machines, leveraging intelligent products to expand capacity and strengthen our market position.
